We all know that both the government and economic approaches of China are based on the communist way of thinking. While foreign to most Westerners, the communist way of life has been the basis for much of China’s current ways of living. While this type of government definitely affects how the population of China lives, it also affects some other important aspects of the country. One way that this can be seen is in the education of people in China.

The education approach in China might be seen by some as being short. China only requires that each child has nine years of formal education – this is far less than the amount of schooling that is seen in other countries, such as the 13 years in the US and 14 years in Canada. The types of schooling offered in China are broken into three areas: basic education, higher education and adult education.

Basic education starts with preschool or kindergarten, which lasts longer than it does in the US, with children entering this schooling program at around age three, and staying in preschool until the age of six. At age six, children enter primary education (elementary school). After completing elementary school, kids are then put into one of two types of secondary education: either academic (preparing the students for higher education) or vocational secondary education which prepares the students for work.

China does also offer higher education. Students who attend college have the choice of going to a short-cycle school (two to three years, equivalent to an associates’ degree), or a regular college which lasts three to four years and can end in a bachelor’s degree. Masters and PhD programs are also available.

Finally, adult education (which also falls partially under higher education) offers programs such as Peasants’ Primary Schools, Workers’ Primary Schools and literacy training. These types of adult education are aimed at adults that may not have gone through any formal schooling in their childhood – and they also include places such as correspondence colleges and specialized schools for different industries and jobs.

The education platform in China is well organized, and while not exactly like schools found in the US, definitely rivals the schooling found in the rest of the (non-communist) world. Both adults and children are able to educate themselves to further their careers and working life.

The Chinese checkers game is a board game that uses colorful marbles. These are very attractive to little children. Small children are very curious beings and have the tendency to taste everything they see that fascinates their eyes.

The board may be made out of solid wood like cherry, metal such as tin or fiberglass for long lasing durability. The fiberglass is the most expensive type of materials use for this game board. The shapes of the board may be round or square or hexagonal which are perfect ornaments or wall decors.

The instructions or mechanics of the game may be engraved at the back of the wood or in a separate sheet of paper. Innovative designers make the other side of the board as a conventional chess board with matching chess pieces. This game can be played by at least two to six players only.

The Chinese checkers game set comprises of the board itself with a standard measurement of eleven and a half inches in diameter and sixty pieces of vividly colored marbles that may come in an elegant velvet pouch.

The holes for each marble are especially designed to fit in the marbles size. The marbles consists of six different colors in a set of ten for each color with a total number of sixty pieces all in all. The colors are usually the spectral colors like red, yellow, orange, green, blue or black and white.

It does not matter whether it is raining or there is no power supply, you can still play anytime with it. You can browse online and check for other designs of these particular boards. The mechanics or instructions of the game can also be found on certain web sites that are into games of these sorts.

Fine China is a perfect medium in which to serve a proper tea. Tea sets made of china were very popular in the Victorian Era for their beauty and strength, and they remain so today. Many beautiful sets grace china cupboards and sideboards all over the world. Tea sets made of china were first produced in the 1600′s and were quite different from the original Chinese tea sets consisting of a pot, handleless cups and a bamboo whisk.

China tea sets come in varying sizes. Some might just be a pot and two cups while a large set can include many cups, dishes, sugar bowls, creamer and a tray. While a little difficult to lift larger sets, this configuration made beverages for the whole family instead of one person. These sets might be highly ornamented and gilded with gold or just plain white with a scalloped design. They are very convenient because everything is there except the tea, and ready for nearly any occasion.

Western tea sets, also called tea services, first appeared in metals like pewter or silver. Once porcelain was developed it was only natural that the new product became a tea set to satisfy the demands of those that could not afford silver. Bone china was a perfect candidate for a tea set and it allowed the services to be dainty and light.

Bone china sets consisted of a teapot, cups and saucers, serving plates, creamer, sugar bowl, waste bowl and platters for food that came alongside the tea. The same china pattern comprised the entire set. The waste bowl is no longer included in modern day tea sets. This is where the leaves used in making fine tea were placed in order for them to be discarded. Most of these sets are equipped to serve four people, but getting extra components to expand the set is very easy.

A perfect place to display a bone china set was in front of a window so the light illustrated the translucent qualities of the cups and teapot. China cupboards are another perfect place to display collectible items. Most china cupboards have clear glass and even the sides of some are curved glass for optimum viewing. The best thing about a china cupboard is that the set will not get dusty because it is totally enclosed. These sets left in the open tend to collect dust. A china cupboard also gives added protection to the tea set as it cannot fall to the ground and break easily, particularly in homes with pets or children.

Today tea sets come in all shapes and sizes. There are sets that look like miniature cities or animals. They are brightly colored or subdued with delicate roses painted on them. They are made of porcelain and bone china. Some sets are purposely mismatched for a Bohemian flair. No matter what they look like they enhance the tea drinking experience with whimsical tea, beauty and luxury.

Here is a guide to education in China as it stands today.

We all know that both the government and economic approaches of China are based on the communist way of thinking. While foreign to most Westerners (in fact, to most everyone else in the world), the communist way of life has been the basis for much of China’s current ways of living. While this type of government definitely affects how the population of China lives, it also affects some other important aspects of the country. One way that this can be seen is in the education of people in China.

The education approach in China might be seen by some (especially those in the United States and Europe) as being short. China only requires that each child has nine years of formal education – this is far less than the amount of schooling that is seen in other countries, such as the 13 years in the US and 14 years in Canada.

Tibet is a region on the northern borders of India and for long acted as a buffer between India and China. Tibet has its own distinctive culture that is quite different from that of China. But it is also a fact of History that China has always coveted Tibet.

At the turn of the last century Tibet was a closed society. But Colonel Younghusband on the orders of Lord Curzon ordered an invasion of Tibet in 1903-04. The Tibetans were defeated and accepted a resident at Lhasa, the capital. But again the suzerainty of Tibet was recognized. The British shrewd as ever also got the Tibetans, Chinese and themselves into a pact that delineated the border with Tibet and India in the Shimla pact of 1914.

Tibet had degree of independence during the period between the two wars. However the end of the Second World War brought about a sea change in the political equation. India was granted independence by the British.Nehru the Indian Prim Minister, who had all his life spent agitating against the British rule did not understand the game of power politics. He showed naivity and by default accepted Chinese suzerainty over Tibet, though he talked of autonomy for the mountain state.

The Chinese invaded Tibet and soon entered Lhasa and all the while Nehru kept twiddling his thumbs. The Communists now established a stranglehold over Tibet and began to slowly dismantle their centuries old culture and religion. There was an uprising by the Tibetans which was ruthlessly crushed by China. The Dalia Lama the temporal and spiritual head of Tibet escaped to India and was granted political asylum

But again the Indian government could not do anything as China enforced communist rule over Tibet. Monasteries were razed and the Tibetan Buddhist nuns were forcibly married to Chinese men. The Lamas were hounded and Tibet was put under the strictest of laws. It was a dark age.

In this period the Indian Army suffered a devastating defeat to China and vast tracts of land were lost in Ladakh. The Chinese were thus able to consolidate their grip over Tibet. The Chinese even kidnapped young Tibetan girls and took them to China and Chinese from China were encouraged to settle in Tibet, so as to change the demographic character of the state.

As things stand the world and India can only sit and watch as the Chinese consolidate their grip over the Tibetan people. What is the solution? There appears to be none as the Chinese government on one pretext or another does not want to negotiate with the Dalai Lama. India and the USA are also weak as far as Tibet is concerned. Tibetan culture is totally suppressed and a curtain is drawn all over Tibet. Thus the road ahead is bleak and short of a complete collapse of communism in China, there is no light at the end of the tunnel for the Tibetans.

The history of Chinese dancing can be traced back to the images on a pottery that aged about 4500 years ago. The common movements in the Chinese dance include stamping feet and locking arm. The Chinese dances are performed in accordance with the musical instrument.

In the Book of Songs, there is an entry about the dance festivals that are performed during the Zhou dynasty. The Zhou dynasty lasted from 1100 B.C. to 221 B.C. The Chinese legend claims that the harpoon dance was taught by the hero Fu Xo. The Dance of the Cloud Gate was originally performed to pay tribute to the Yellow Emperor who ruled during the 26th century.

During the Han dynasty, large dancing groups are formed. The male dancing group consists of 16 boys that act as if they are performing farming chores. The male dancers are accompanies by 300 girls. In Chinese dancing, the women will dance with their long sleeves. Some women dancer will move the scarves in their hand as they dance.

During the Tang dynasty, the dance incorporates movements taken from other countries such as Korea and Japan. The Academy of the Pear Garden used to be a dancing school that trained hundreds of men and women. Many poets that survive in the Tang dynasty describe the dance as the dance of rainbow skirt.
Foot binding was practiced after the Tang dynasty. The women dancers are forced to dance with bound feet. The binding of the foot cause the women to feel pain and hard to walk. Foot binding dances are performed during the Yuan and Qing dynasties.

Western styles were incorporated into the Chinese dances in the 1800s. In 1800s, many Europeans came to China to carry out the trading of goods.

Business development goes a lot faster today thanks to the many technological improvements. The old or traditional ways of marketing a
business have left room to the new strategies that mainly rely on the use of the Internet. With all the automatic tools and software programs now available, business management and market targeting have improved and changed considerably. This means that the companies activating in each business sector are more flexible, innovative and adaptable to competition.

Besides partnerships and relationships, there is more to marketing a business in today’s context. The old theories and frameworks are no longer that widely applicable, the theories, concepts and models have changed as the modern consumer reacts differently to stimulation. The Internet changes the clients’ exposure and the way they choose to come into contact with the business message. Thus, a web surfer searching something online will view ads willingly, without pressure on the part of the business owner .

The shift in marketing a business has thus reached the fundamentals of lucrative occupations, and the demands of the Internet user now have to be met by all companies. The advertising campaigns take into consideration only the relevant prospects and target them with preponderance.

Even if things have changed at such peculiar levels, lots of the principles specific to marketing a business remain valid. The use of the incentives, the advertising message, the pricing structure and lots of others, show the signs of the new influences. The forms in which these tactics are wrapped are the ones to have changed.

The choice of strategies could be baffling for many emerging businesses. One seldom knows what course of action to choose, particularly since the diversity of options has increased so significantly. Lots of investors start marketing a business with plenty of enthusiasm and with the promise of great wealth. Yet, instant success cannot come overnight; it takes lots of effort, time, hard work and a smart choice of business tactics. It is good to rely on some solid motivation or part of your effort will be in vain.

Do start building a business only if you have some solid marketing knowledge, a firm plan to act upon and lots of dedication. Professional
training is essential, and consultancy services make a good solution for marketing a business if the manager lacks the marketing experience to
take care of everything.
